Network of about 1,900 km, standard gauge (1,435 mm) on recent lines, 1,067 mm on the historic network, about 70% electrified. Infrastructure and operations: Taiwan Railway Corporation / THSR.

Our road-rail plant is built for 1,435 mm standard gauge; compatibility with the gauge in use in Taiwan (standard gauge (1,435 mm) on recent lines, 1,067 mm on the historic network) and approval by the infrastructure manager are confirmed during the study.

Working in Taiwan

Can you work in Taiwan with your road-rail plant?

Yes, subject to study: road-rail MEWPs and excavators are shipped by low-loader, container or ro-ro with their certified operators. Lead times, customs formalities and local approval are built into the quote.

Which track gauge in Taiwan?

The network in Taiwan uses standard gauge (1,435 mm) on recent lines, 1,067 mm on the historic network. Our plant is built for standard gauge; adaptation to another gauge is studied with the manufacturer before any mobilisation.

Can you train teams in Taiwan?

Yes. AK FORMATION designs in-house sessions in French or English, on site in Taiwan or in France: rail safety, road-rail MEWP and excavator operation, overhead-line work, first aid.

Do you work with local companies in Taiwan?

Yes. We work as a subcontractor to French or European companies engaged in Taiwan, and in partnership with local companies: provision of plant and operators, technical support, training.
