Understanding the ground before we mobilise

Network of about 30,000 km, several gauges (standard and narrow gauges), mostly non-electrified. Infrastructure and operations: ANTT / concessions (MRS, Rumo, VLI, Vale).

Concessioned freight network (ore, soy), Carajás and Vitória–Minas lines among the world's busiest, São Paulo, Rio and Brasília metros, São Paulo–Rio high-speed project relaunched.

GROUPE ARROUGÉ studies jobs in Brazil case by case: road-rail MEWPs and excavators shipped by road or sea with their certified operators, operators provided on long-distance assignment, training of local teams with AK FORMATION, as a subcontractor to French companies or in partnership with local players.

Our road-rail plant is built for 1,435 mm standard gauge; compatibility with the gauge in use in Brazil (several gauges (standard and narrow gauges)) and approval by the infrastructure manager are confirmed during the study.

Working in Brazil

Can you work in Brazil with your road-rail plant?

Yes, subject to study: road-rail MEWPs and excavators are shipped by low-loader, container or ro-ro with their certified operators. Lead times, customs formalities and local approval are built into the quote.

Which track gauge in Brazil?

The network in Brazil uses several gauges (standard and narrow gauges). Our plant is built for standard gauge; adaptation to another gauge is studied with the manufacturer before any mobilisation.

Can you train teams in Brazil?

Yes. AK FORMATION designs in-house sessions in French or English, on site in Brazil or in France: rail safety, road-rail MEWP and excavator operation, overhead-line work, first aid.

Do you work with local companies in Brazil?

Yes. We work as a subcontractor to French or European companies engaged in Brazil, and in partnership with local companies: provision of plant and operators, technical support, training.
