Our road-rail plant is built for 1,435 mm standard gauge; compatibility with the gauge in use in Mozambique (1,067 mm Cape gauge) and approval by the infrastructure manager are confirmed during the study.

Working in Mozambique

Can you work in Mozambique with your road-rail plant?

Yes, subject to study: road-rail MEWPs and excavators are shipped by low-loader, container or ro-ro with their certified operators. Lead times, customs formalities and local approval are built into the quote.

Which track gauge in Mozambique?

The network in Mozambique uses 1,067 mm Cape gauge. Our plant is built for standard gauge; adaptation to another gauge is studied with the manufacturer before any mobilization.

Can you train teams in Mozambique?

Yes. AK FORMATION designs in-house sessions in French or English, on site in Mozambique or in France: rail safety, road-rail MEWP and excavator operation, overhead-line work, first aid.
